Thomas Barclay-Adams
Thomas Barclay-Adams trained at Chelsea School of Art and Goldsmiths College between 1946 to 1950. He received the National Diploma of Painting in 1949. In 1958, he founded the Adams Design Associates with Amy Garnett. He produced large murals in the new medium of laminated plastic for various firms. In 1960, Adams Designs Associates became DANAD Designs with a group of architects and designers. He has won various awards for illustration, notable The American Society of Illustrators, The American Art Directors Association and The Design and Art Directors Association in the UK.
